Google, you have forsaken me

The title says it all, Google (for the for the first time) has let me down. My cries went unnoticed, my plea fell upon deaf ears...my CR 48 never arrived. Now I could cry, alone in a pool of my own tears, but I can't/won't do so. Hopefully, they will have a product they will release to someone like me, something that will make the current CR 48 holders jealous with rage.

Or I'll just keep blogging on a site they own ... Either way I suppose.

New blogging method

I'll be honest I don't have many people that actually read this blog, but I'm going to out my thought down so someone knows how I feel. I'm getting ready to be a father again for the 2nd time, as I am in the process of adopting my first child. This has been something that completely caught me off guard, but I think that I can do this.

New child is due in October, which gives me time to figure out the late nights all over again.

Google, CR48 and my plea to Google...

Any of my friends will tell you, I have a passion for technology. It's probably more of a disease than a passion to be honest. I find myself drawn into Google and their products like a moth to the flame. Doesn't matter what they create, I literally must have it. (which I find to be ironic because I'm blogging from my iPad right now)

I stumbled upon a gentleman that has the Google Chrome netbook, aka CR48. His asking price is modest, which is great but how can I justify purchasing the netbook while I blog to you on an iPad? Again, I go back to the fact that its Google and I must have it. Adam Rothstein literally sold me (as if I needed it) that I need to have this in my life.

So to sum this up...my plea to Google is....allow me to acquire a CR48. Allow me to put the netbook through the ropes of my internet usage. I already use my Google powered phone to 4+gigs per month (thanks Verizon!) Give me the pleasure of telling people "you don't want that ipad thingy, you want this Google thingy.

Early wake up and the Master's class

So the little one this morning decided she wanted to wake up at 4am and scream for a while...no biggie. I'll just stay wake with her. Riiiiigggghhhhtttt. She screamed for 55 minutes then my alarm went off. Ok, I'll lay here for a while longer so I can get my head on right.

Then I logged into my online courses and discovered a recent forum post by our professor. Needless to say I had had enough a I proceeded to type furiously via the iPad letting her know exactly how I felt about said post. I think I even thought a 'niner' in there as well. The words spilled out a though they were dripped from a magically pen...except onto a webpage, yeah that's it.

Needless to say I feel very good this morning, swagger-jacker style even though I have two weeks left in class and I'm sure the teacher won't take it out on my AT ALL. Rrriiiiiiggggghhhhhttttt.

Blogging from my X

Being that I check droidforums.net at least 16 times per day I was pumped to see that google released an official blogger app that I can use.

Its simple in it's usage, very friend user interface in my opinion. I haven't figured all the ends and out of it, but I'm going to post a random picture to ensure that feature works.

Columbus Ohio icepocalyspe and the Cavs

I sit here in front of an electronic fireplace to make one simple blog post regarding the weather and then it hits me:

Mother nature has more wins in 2011 than the Cleveland Cavs do. Noah from the ark dealt with 40 days and 40 nights of rain...which is 4 days SHORTER than the Cavs last win. The Cavs have gone (in one year) to a team that was the first to win 40 games, to the team thats the fastest to lose 40 games.

Bravo. Lottery pick here we come! But Cleveland, as in every sports case....there is always next year.

Verizon nixing the mail in rebates...finally!

So Verizon has decided that the mail in rebate is finally dumb and they should be applying the "rebated" price on the phones immediately. Frankly, this has taken entirely too long and wasted countless resources at Verizon. They probably have an entire division of people that just worked on this rebates...which now Verizon has discovered "oh I guess these people can actually help with the release of the iPhone 4. Welcome to 2011 Verizon.

Slooowww blogging news day

So yeah it's been a while since I blogged. No big whoop, wanna fight about it? It's just overwhelming trying to: work full time, grad school full time, new child in the home, doctors for back issues... You get the gist.

Managed to watch The Social Network and found that Mark Zuckerburg is quite the asshole...my type of dude. My friends usually consist of sarcastic, tell it like it is business related gentleman (ahem... assholes). I think that we would be fairly good friends so consider this my invite to Mr. Zuckerburg to be friends...please pick me up in your private jet.

The suspended 5, Herbie, BCS.

Not a single one of them actually declared for the draft early. Zero. Zippo. Zilch. So to those ESPN analysts that thing they know it all...lock it up.

And
a special note to Herbie...thanks for making OSU #9 in your final rankings. It further proves the point you're the worst Alumni for OSU and the BCS human polls make the entire system a mockery.

Greatest hitter of all time (soon to be)

Albert Pujols wants a contract. Honestly, pay the man 45 million per year because you're probably looking at the greatest right handed of all time. My father has lived to see Hank Aaron hit, I've lived to see Manny Ramirez hit and King Albert is twice the hitter than they are. He is becoming Barry Bonds scary and the man is all natural. He makes watching baseball as an Indians fan tolerable again.

Pay him whatever he wants, because the amount of money he will be bringing in pales in comparison.

Verizon IPhone announcement!

If you ask a few people at work, I happened to make a comment just last week that Verizon would be announcing the IPhone sometime between nous and the end of February. Well....sounds like my timeline is a little longer than Verizon wanted to wait. According to multiple sources Verizon will be announcing the release of the IPhone on Tuesday, at 11am.

That 1/11/11 at 11am...hmm ironic they would be using a time and date like that. This is coupled with the proven fact that Apple employees have been forbidden to take vacation between February 1-16 this year. The rumor is that Verizon will be selling the IPhone in the beginning of February and the shortly begin selling the Droid Bionic that I touched on in an earlier post.

Droid Bionic = Sexy Time

Being a huge Google supporter, nothing makes me happier to see Motorola role out a phone that can actually compare directly with the iphone....just like the droid x can.

The Droid Bionic is a phone that seems to be the Droid with missing pieces, the biggest being the front facing camera for real time skype video. I'd love the front facing on my droid x, but alas it doesn't have it. :(

Take a moment and look at the Motorola Droid Bionic. Its quite sexy.

Mark May Addicted to Haterade

My continued hatred for ESPN could have potentially reached its all time highest level tonight when Mark May (once again) continued to crap out words from his enormously huge mouth. ESPN has continued to berate Terrelle Pryor and company regarding their 'transgressions' from years ago and get away from the actual reason to watch their god forsaken channel.....football. I have heard enough about what they have done, lets actually talk about potential match ups, and strategies for each team.

Also....the 0-9....I get it. What will happen once OSU wins a game? 1-9, yep, you guessed it...they will key on that.

Shocking that Mark May would pick Arkansas to win the game...shocking. I'm fairly certain that Mark May gets paid to make OSU hatred-laden comments by ESPN and the other conferences.

Just want to make sure Mark May knows this....The University of Pittsburgh is stuck in a land of mediocrity, so go back to your school and watch them lose 5 games a season.

Pryor vs. Herbie

I find this fight between Kirk and Terrelle to be both funny and stupid at the same time. I understand that Kirk has a job to do as a member of the media and putting Pryor on check is what they do. What the entire media forgets is that these are 18-21 year old people... I remember what I was doing at that age and it involved drink and finding the.next place to drink... I.E. that age group doesn't make the best choices.

As for Terrelle... yes you have a great record against Michigan but given the fact that you have been the center of MUCHO controversy you should be more humble. You can think you're the man in your own head but keep it there for now (or show it on the field so Buckeye Nation starts to forget about the transgressions).
