Google, you have forsaken me

The title says it all, Google (for the for the first time) has let me down. My cries went unnoticed, my plea fell upon deaf ears...my CR 48 never arrived. Now I could cry, alone in a pool of my own tears, but I can't/won't do so. Hopefully, they will have a product they will release to someone like me, something that will make the current CR 48 holders jealous with rage.

Or I'll just keep blogging on a site they own ... Either way I suppose.

New blogging method

I'll be honest I don't have many people that actually read this blog, but I'm going to out my thought down so someone knows how I feel. I'm getting ready to be a father again for the 2nd time, as I am in the process of adopting my first child. This has been something that completely caught me off guard, but I think that I can do this.

New child is due in October, which gives me time to figure out the late nights all over again.

Google, CR48 and my plea to Google...

Any of my friends will tell you, I have a passion for technology. It's probably more of a disease than a passion to be honest. I find myself drawn into Google and their products like a moth to the flame. Doesn't matter what they create, I literally must have it. (which I find to be ironic because I'm blogging from my iPad right now)

I stumbled upon a gentleman that has the Google Chrome netbook, aka CR48. His asking price is modest, which is great but how can I justify purchasing the netbook while I blog to you on an iPad? Again, I go back to the fact that its Google and I must have it. Adam Rothstein literally sold me (as if I needed it) that I need to have this in my life.

So to sum this up...my plea to Google is....allow me to acquire a CR48. Allow me to put the netbook through the ropes of my internet usage. I already use my Google powered phone to 4+gigs per month (thanks Verizon!) Give me the pleasure of telling people "you don't want that ipad thingy, you want this Google thingy.

Early wake up and the Master's class

So the little one this morning decided she wanted to wake up at 4am and scream for a while...no biggie. I'll just stay wake with her. Riiiiigggghhhhtttt. She screamed for 55 minutes then my alarm went off. Ok, I'll lay here for a while longer so I can get my head on right.

Then I logged into my online courses and discovered a recent forum post by our professor. Needless to say I had had enough a I proceeded to type furiously via the iPad letting her know exactly how I felt about said post. I think I even thought a 'niner' in there as well. The words spilled out a though they were dripped from a magically pen...except onto a webpage, yeah that's it.

Needless to say I feel very good this morning, swagger-jacker style even though I have two weeks left in class and I'm sure the teacher won't take it out on my AT ALL. Rrriiiiiiggggghhhhhttttt.

Blogging from my X

Being that I check droidforums.net at least 16 times per day I was pumped to see that google released an official blogger app that I can use.

Its simple in it's usage, very friend user interface in my opinion. I haven't figured all the ends and out of it, but I'm going to post a random picture to ensure that feature works.

Columbus Ohio icepocalyspe and the Cavs

I sit here in front of an electronic fireplace to make one simple blog post regarding the weather and then it hits me:

Mother nature has more wins in 2011 than the Cleveland Cavs do. Noah from the ark dealt with 40 days and 40 nights of rain...which is 4 days SHORTER than the Cavs last win. The Cavs have gone (in one year) to a team that was the first to win 40 games, to the team thats the fastest to lose 40 games.

Bravo. Lottery pick here we come! But Cleveland, as in every sports case....there is always next year.

Verizon nixing the mail in rebates...finally!

So Verizon has decided that the mail in rebate is finally dumb and they should be applying the "rebated" price on the phones immediately. Frankly, this has taken entirely too long and wasted countless resources at Verizon. They probably have an entire division of people that just worked on this rebates...which now Verizon has discovered "oh I guess these people can actually help with the release of the iPhone 4. Welcome to 2011 Verizon.
